izabel better stay in 10 more weeks

i just read annie's post about the weather in texas....it's just as bad as here honey...it's supposed to be below freezing in the mountains by now, pipes & toilet frozen solid...but it's been in the 60s all weekend and chilly at night.
amanda and i are hoping to make a mini trip to bristol today to steal teeg&emily for a few days. so excited!
i almost had the baby early yesterday morning. i had some amniotic fluid leak out during the night along with contractions and a thin cervix. but the fluid was negative in the pelvic exam and the contractions stopped after getting three bags of an IV. the tests were inconclusive. but if it happens again, i will be shipped to charleston, wv or roanoke, va for further testing.
i got to see the size of her head but not her face when they were doing measurements...i can't wait to see how she looks on the 9th. her head is underneath my right rib cage at the moment. so i'm glad i didn't go into labor cause she is breach.
izzy, izzy, izzy, what am i going to do with you? hehehe.

i hope you all had a good christmas.
it's chilly in the house, we are out of the firewood. the brother of the family has been to lazy to cut some and dry it out cause it has rained recently.
i have to work tonight..and it's almost a shame because the Easter's do an annual bluegrass/banjo picking at their house. over a hundred people show and have an excuse to act like hillbillies! and since martha had her double mastectomy last monday, tons more of food and gifts will be brought to her than usual. i thought it would be interesting but it starts right after we head out to bluefield.

i'm in week 26 now...about 132lbs...counting down the days until my next ultrasound to see if she's grown into that forehead yet ;)
i got the sweetest gift from jessica that i went to school with. she gave me some white osh kosh booties and a tiny pink onsie and a 25$ giftcard that i can use anywhere. love you jess!
amanda bought me a few things too...a pack of gerber onsies, two jumper outfits (who would've thought calvin klein made baby clothes?) and a panda hat & mittens that we hope will fit next fall/winter.

izabel is down-syndrome & cystic fibrosis free! next ob visit is jan 9th.

it's crazy to know that Izabel is between the size of a half gallon of milk and this 5lb bag of flour!! she is about 8-8.5 inches long at the moment and weighs over a pound.



it just doesn't look like i'm carrying something that big cause i'm so small! she was tumbling around like a madwoman last night. i can't wait to meet her. ^.^

i am alive and well. i didn't have internet access while seeing johnny in detroit.
i'm at 25 weeks tomorrow! my belly has grown quite a bit....i was bad and didn't take any photos while up north. shame on me.
i'm about 130lbs now. glucose level is great at 75.
i did have to goto the hospital about a week ago. i had severe dehydration from stress. they gave me two packs of an IV. everything is fine now, my blood work was normal. Izabel is kicking like crazy and I love it everytime.
Johnny and I still haven't decided on a middle name. He wants Sharee, dedicated to a cousin that passed away of an illness at 15, and I wanted Aurora for my greatgrandma. But neither of us have agreed on one.....since I am back in west virginia, and don't know if Johnny will make his way back down here, I am thinking of surprising him with his middle name as hers. His name is Joseph....and i would change it to Josephine. What do you think? Izabel Josephine DeWeese. i think it's cute ;)
